Training offerings.
The current program includes certificate training, flight reviews, proficiency work, custom programs and international students.
Private Pilot Certificate (PPL)
The certificate that lets you fly for personal use, carry passengers, travel cross-country, and rent aircraft. It is non-commercial: you generally cannot be paid to fly passengers with only a Private Pilot Certificate.
Commercial Pilot Certificate (CPL)
For pilots who want flying to become part of their career or who want to train to a higher standard of precision. A Commercial Certificate permits compensation for certain flying activities, but it does not by itself authorize an operator to conduct charter or air-taxi service.
Flight Instructor Certificate
Preparation for pilots who want to teach and build professional flying experience. The club fleet is not approved for intentional spins, so hands-on spin training must be completed elsewhere; I can help point you toward an appropriate option.
Flight Reviews
A Flight Review is required every 24 calendar months unless another qualifying activity applies. The regulatory minimum is one hour of ground and one hour of flight, but the review should also address what has changed in your flying, skills, rules, airspace and mission.
Rusty-pilot and proficiency training
If you've been away from flying, we'll start with how long it's been, what you used to fly, and what you want to fly now. The goal is real proficiency — not simply the shortest path to a signature.
Custom training programs
Programs can be built around a working schedule, accelerated timeline, a specific mission, or a continuous pathway through multiple certificates. The starting point is a conversation about your timeline, budget and goal.
International students
I maintain my own TSA Flight Training Security Program account so eligible international students can associate their training directly with me. I do not sponsor or advise on visas or immigration status; those matters must be handled independently before training approval.
Training should fit what you're trying to do.
A student building toward a professional career and a pilot who wants to fly family trips may need the same certificate but not the same emphasis. The syllabus can be structured without being rigid.
